On - -, -, I submitted a bill payment using my American Express Bluebird account to my daughters ' -. According to American Express Bluebird, the check was cleared on - -, -. However, after speaking to the payee ( the - ) in late -, I was informed that she never received the check. She verified with her bank records and no deposit in that amount was ever made. We believe the payment check was stolen from her mailbox and deposited fraudulently. I subsequently contacted American Express to file a payment dispute on - -, -, which was denied 24 hours later. I contacted American Express again to inquire why the claim was denied, and the customer service team could not provide a reason but told me that I would be receiving documentation regarding the dispute in the mail. More than ten business days elapsed with no documentation having been received in the mail. I subsequently contacted American Express Bluebird again, and they said they would send me the dispute documentation in the mail immediately. It is now - -, -, and I still have not received any documentation regarding the investigation.
