I had a Best Buy CC since -/-/- but destroyed the card. I purchased a TV for my daughter around -/-/-. /-/-/- on the phone and used the account by them looking it up. I was paying on the account monthly. I was being stalked at the time and had moved several times. I had a brief relationship with a man until I realized he was not safe. On -/-/- while my daughter and I were out for holiday he broke into my home, hiding behind the bedroom door he attached me with a phone cord trying to strangle me. It took - police officers to pull him off of me. I suffered a -, - and -, I lost my job and it took months to recover. I maintained the account paying a minimum balance. Just before moving to - for our safety I realized a laptop had been purchased on the account. Not changing my address through the - -, I month after month contacted B.B. directly to change my address, given their C.S. reps. my inform, yet it never changed. Each time I called I would ask them to verify the new address and give it again.


and I did n't know that with out receiving the statements so it was sent to collections. In moving back to -. after the man was in jail, I spoke with collections, wrote out everything sending documentation. I know the man that tried to kill me purchased the laptop on my account. I received a letter from B.B. stating I won my case, they would remove the purchase, all fees and penalties and repair my credit in 3 months. I heard nothing from them again for months until recently when called by another collection agency. I was told they sold it to them and now want me to press charges against the man for identity theft ; I refused. He will soon be released and when he does I will not run for my life again over a $650.00. laptop. How can this be? The letter states that after investigation they removed disputed charges and any related fees and interest. I am uploading the document sent on -/-/-. I have spent two years recouping from this ordeal and they have added undue stress to my life and ruined my credit. Please I need your help.
