I deposit checks from my phone over the internet. The bank has set a limit on the amount of money I can deposit with my phone. If I pay them $12.00 per month more than I am currently paying them ( currently $12.00 service fee ), I can deposit as much as I want over the internet. This makes no sense to me. I can deposit as much as I want if I walk into the bank and make the transaction. It costs them more for me to deposit funds in person ( building upkeep, heat, A/C, electricity, employees to be there whenever I decide to come in ) than to deposit over the internet. I do n't think it is right for me to have to pay the bank to give them money ( make deposits ) that they are already using interest free.
