I was late paying my timeshare maintenance fees, for the - of 2015, and it was sent to collection in - 2015. I paid the collection agency in full, and verified with them that I was paid in full, however they failed to return my account to the original creditor, and instead kept my account open so that the original creditor never knew to bill me for the - of 2015. So neither the original creditor nor the collection agency have sent me anything in writing notifying me of the debt, but instead have made phone calls harassing my elderly parents on their home phone number thrice in the past week. Once by automated robot system, and twice by a live representative from the collection agency sharing my personal information on their answering machine. I just want to pay what I owe to the original creditor, as my account should have been generating bills from them, which they never sent to me, and not the extra erroneous charges by the collection agency, who is acting in an illegal manner.
