This is my third time contacting the CFPB about Green Tree AKA Ditech LLC. This company has engaged in negligence and deception in regards to a questionable debt that their representatives have mislead me to believe to be an unpaid car loan and then a home mortgage. This form of deception is an infringement on my rights under the - Debts collection act of California, and constitutes a reprimand towards the company involved in this form of consumer abuse. I received a response from Ditech LLC stating that they would take this unspecified debt off my credit report in writing, but they have lied again. The debt is still on my credit report, and they have attached unconscionable interest on this loan as well, knocking down my credit score. Ditech LLC has misrepresented themselves in stating that they were Green Tree, but now they are stating that they are not Green Tree. This can no longer continue. Deceptive business practices can never be tolerated!
