I have an - - business card with Chase. My annual fee was coming due in -. Since this is my biggest spending card with Chase, in late -, I called to find out if there were any retention offers on the account. I was told by a customer service representative that they would waive the $95.00 annual fee if I kept the card open but that he could only process it after the annual fee posted and told me to call back. Today, - -, I called again only to be told that there were no retention offers on my card and that the annual fee would not be waived.
