On - -, 2015 I contacted my local office of Springleaf Financial Services to inquire about making a loan. I allowed them to look at my credit report. They asked for a pay-stub and more information to submit a complete application. I did not provide it because I did not want to get a loan from them. On - -, 2015 I received a letter from Springleaf informing me that my request for a loan had been declined and this decline was reported to - credit reporting services. I did not ask for the loan, nor was I provided details in writing, nor did I request approval for a loan. I believe this was done unfairly and was done as retribution because of my lack of interest in their services. I want this decline retracted and not reported.
