-, who claimed to be a supervisor at Discover Bank, informed that the company had placed an interstate call to me and recorded it without my permission. She said I should 've been informed that Discover was recording the phone call when I called into their center. I did n't call them. They called me. The Bank has not honored its promotional terms for my opening an account, although another employee, -, verified that I had met all of the requirements and the promotion should have been honored. - and - both said they would have to inform another department of the potential error and it would take another 4-6 weeks for them to consider whether to fix their error in applying the bonus that should have been applied in - for opening a bank account with their company. - and - said they wo n't honor the terms of their promotion if I close the bank account now.
