I have a high interest auto loan from Santander Consumer. I had a couple financial issues but have recovered and have been making payments some twice per month to keep current. In the interim, I am also working on fixing credit. When looking over my reports, I noticed a charge off on this very account that I am making payments on, they refuse to take this off my account and say they will not do it even when the entire balance is paid. Is this seriously legal? PLEASE HELP!
