In late - of 2015 I received a letter from CMRE Financial Services regarding a delinquent medical account that I was unaware of. In early - 2015 I made a payment in full to CMRE to satisfy the delinquent account. One week later, without having received any warning, a delinquency was noted on my credit report by CMRE. I made a phone call to CMRE, the first time I have ever talked to anyone at that company about this account, where a woman stated that they had been trying to contact me since - 2015 and that is why they put the delinquency on my credit report, even though it had been paid. Since no one from CMRE made any attempt to contact me, I was never informed of any possibility of a deragatory mark on my credit report, and the fact that this balance was paid prior to CMRE reporting the derogatory mark, not only is this unfair but it is a clear violation of the law and my rights.
