AES/PHEAA Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Ohio

Second time I am contacting. My account is through AES. Risking defaulting on my loan because they wo n't work with me to come up with a payment arrangement I can handle for my income. I make $12000.00 a year right now. I have explained this, and they wo n't listen. Told them I am still looking for a job in my field. First time I contacted cfpb, AES sent me forbearance papers in the mail. Surprised, I signed them and mailed them back. No contact or communication from them, just papers. Today, I get a response on the forbearance..denied. Because I will not pay what they are demanding, $340.00 a month.. I 'm not saying I wo n't pay I just need someone to work with me, and they wo n't. Im agervated and disgusted, and feel my credit is probably going to be ruined.
