I have been sent to collections over a - - - debt with a doctors group. I called and explained to them at least three times this was not my debt, I left the adjusters name and contact information and still they went forward. This was the responsibility of the treating Hospital to assure proper billing and the doctors group to assure whether this was a personal or insurance related debt. I am in the midst of repairing my credit in preparation for buying a house, this little $100.00 dollar debt dropped my score by several points! This is wrong and I want it made right immediately or I will hire an attorney and sue for damages! Much more than the $100.00 I assure it!
