I have a credit card with Elan Financial Services I have been paying extra and instead of the amount over the minimum payment being applied to the balance with the highest interest rate they are applying the payment to both balances. I have sent them a secured e-mail regarding this matter. They responded saying because I my account showed a purchase last month it was applied correctly. I have not used this credit card for several months and I have no automatic charges on this card.
