Hello, I am trying to report a violation of the fair credit reporting act perpetrated by Santander consumer usa. They have received a payment as of -/-/15 yet are continuing to report my account as delinquent. I spoke to a customer service manger - - whose explanation was that because this was an insurance payment it goes towards paying my balance and is n't considered a monthly payment but all my payments since - have been insurance payments and my account has not been reported delinquent because it is n't delinquent. They have received payments well over the amount due. This is a direct violation of the fair credit reporting act. They have received payment yet are reporting my account as delinquent.
