DITECH is offering a misleading refinance proposal. They are offering to convert the 18 years and 11 months left on my current mortgage to a 30 year fixed at a slightly higher interest rate. They claim $19000.00 in savings over 10 years but will actually increase total costs by $66000.00. I believe they are hoping consumers wo n't actually do the math!
