I applied for a mortgage loan with Quicken loans and was pre-approved, contingent on certain conditions. I met all the conditions as specified but the loan was still denied. They stated that they could not confirm how I paid off - debts. I provided bank statements that showed the withdrawal and money orders to pay off the debts. I am concerned because I am of low income and getting offers from higher cost loans and that my information has been mishandled or sold. I qualify for this loan and believe that I am a victim of housing discrimination because of offers from higher cost loans.
