I left my chase atm card in a chase atm during normal banking hours earlier this week. when i try to call that chase bank branch - the phone rings over 8 times and then i get a recording that tells me they are busy providing wonderful support to a different customer and i should call back in a few moments. I got this same recording for over 20 minutes. when i finally gave up and - chase hq number - and spoke with the nice lady ( - at HQ in - ) who answered the phone and explained everything to her she said she would try the branch and put me on hold. she then came back to the line with - from the branch at - - fl who told me the following1. that they do not log atm cards that are turned into the branch2. that they shread said cards without bothering to notify there own customers that the card was turned in and shreaded.


at that point i ask - to remove him from the call and asked her to transfer me to the presidents office. she sent me to person named - who was helpful regarding canceling my card and getting me a new card but said he really could not help other then waiving the replacement card fee. you should note that i have had repeated issues with chase and when i complain to them at best i get a follow up voicemail message from a branch manager who then hides behind his voice mail when i call back. I have even been lied to by the regional vp admin at there regional office - and then they alo hide behind there voice mail.
