i am an - and have an excellent credit score. ( @ - fico ) with greater than 10 years of credit history. i have applied for a citi credit card attracted to their double miles promotion. they have been sitting on my application for more than a week. when i called the agent tells me that application is still pending in a department, that can not be reached by anyone. she suggests my only option is withdrawing the application. with a credit enquiry already posted to my history, i am very much interested in the reason they have been sitting on my application. regards- -- credit application no. -dated -/-/2015
