I applied for a $1000.00 loan online with - in 2011 and I paid back $2500.00 and they still say I owe them and the debt was not paid in full. I filed a complaint against them with the - about 3 years ago due to threatening phone calls from them at home and my work and I did n't hear from them again until over the last few weeks a company called NE Processing in - - NY has contacted me and told me I still owe over $700.00. I asked for validation of their company and they sent me a letter with the amount I owe on it. They told me if I ca n't prove I paid this loan in full, they are going to start legal proceedings, it 's been almost 5 years?? I know that - - - scammed me because they tried to charge me - % interest on the $1000.00 which means I would have to pay back over $3000.00 to have it paid in full.
