I applied for the US Bank Hardship Program and was told by Customer Service not to make payment until my new interest rate and minimum payment were finalized. Once the new terms were set up in - 2015, I was told to make payment - 2015. US Bank is now reporting me to the credit bureau 's as 30 days late. I have spoke to multiple customer service agents who tell me By law US Bank can not remove negative information such as late payments '', which I know is false. I have filed disputes with the credit bureau 's as well as CFPB. US Bank responded with a letter stating additional false information. They stated that I told them I prioritize my payments and would not be able to make payment until the following month. That information is incorrect as all of my accounts and payments are a priority and I have never made a late payment on any of my accounts. That clearly can be seen on all three credit bureau reports. US Bank also stated that the representative that I spoke to who set up the new terms did not tell me to wait and not make payment. That information is also false. The representative who finalized the new terms was not the same person who told me to not make payment. In a previous conversation with a different customer service agent, I was told to not make payment until my new terms were set up. I have been a loyal customer with US Bank for over 10 years and do n't understand why I am the one being punished for being provided with wrong information.
