Last year I set up an automatic ACH payment with a vendor ( - - - ) to be made to my bank ( Discover Bank ). I recently cancelled the service with the vendor. I requested that the vendor cancel the automatic withdrawals. I advised my bank NOT to honor any further ACH payment requests from this vendor. However, in spite of my written and verbal requests, the bank continues to honor these unauthorized ACH payment requests and continue to pay the vendor long after the service has been cancelled. I have repeatedly requested that the bank stop and they refuse to do so. I am not concerned about PAST payments - that money is gone, but I would appreciate if they would STOP payments in the future. This should not be that difficult to do.
