U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Credit determination

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Credit determination Oregon

Prior to - -, 2015 US Bancorp placed an inquiry on my credit report without my permission and with no apparent permissibly purpose. As a result of this inquiry, US Bank mailed me a pre-approved firm offer of credit. I accepted the US Bank offer on - - and on that date US Bank placed further inquiries on the same credit report used to solicit me with their credit offer. Shortly after - - US Bank verbally informed me they declined my application and refused to state why. They have to this date never followed up with any written reason why they refuse to honor the firm offer of credit originally extended as a direct result of obtaining my credit report without my authorization or permissible purpose. It 's clear US Bank violates the FCRA by obtaining without permissible purpose consumer credit reports under the pretext of making a firm offer of credit yet their offer is neither firm or of value. It 's also clear that US Bank refuses to follow the FCRA in that they fail to provide written rational behind failing to consummate their offers and / or declining credit.
