I received a message from - - - ( - ) and a woman named - told me that i may have a pending civil judgement being filed against me and to contact - for details. The number is a firm named Renew Financial. They never answer and the times i have gotten thru the only person answering phones is named -. Wanted my birth date and verified last - of social and claimed I owed a bill to - for - dollars and supposed debt is - yrs. old. Their address is - - -. - - # - -, Ca -, but this is a mailbox etc, place and they will not verify. When i questioned - at Renew, he said this is where they get their mail. Their website is renewfinancialfirm.net and it was created through Homestead and is a hoaxy looking site. Very poor representation if they are a valid company. I have worked very hard on my credit and need to know if this is valid because I have never had an account with - and there are posts that say they are a scam and i am concerned with them stealing identity. They would not provide proof of debt and would not verify in any form that they are a valid debt collection company.
