Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Florida
Several of my accounts as well as my information was compromised back a couple of years ago without my knowledge. By the time I realized what was going, the account was sold off to a third party collection agencies so therefore, the damage was already done. I reached out to Target Bank on several occasions trying to get information regarding the account so that I could determine it was truly my debt and all they replied with was that we no longer service this account. Therefore, I requested my credit report and contacted the collection agency - - requesting advising them that I believe this account had fraudulent activities on it prior to it being sold. I also asked them to provide me with copies of all activity including the transaction history so that I could review it. They stated they would provide it but I never heard back from them nor did I receive anything. I even tried reaching out to Target requesting to speak with someone in their fraud/resolution department and all they reply with is that you have the put the request in writing in which I already have but never received a response.
