I contacted Alpine Credit Inc. located at - - - -, - - in - CO - to request a paid in full letter after making my last payment to bring my account to a - balance. A gentleman who identified his self as the owner of this collection agency by the name of - ( who did not provide a last name ) informed me all I will receive from their office is a receipt showing I made the last payment and that will be it and proceeded to hang up in my face with a very unprofessional attitude. As a consumer that took the time to contact this collection agency to take care of her dept should not be treated so rude be a professional company that is licenses by the state of Colorado to perform such services. If collection agencies are permitted to conduct business in such unprofessional manners, people who have debt to this Alpine Collection Agency Inc. does not have a chance of being treated fairly. I believe every collection agency should be required to use recorded lines, just for reasons like this one and this company does not support recording their conversation with their debtors.
