Escallate LLC is demanding that I pay $450.00 for the doctor I saw while in the - of - - - Hospital ( - ) on -/-/13. I could not afford healthcare at the time of service and as the attached documents show, all amounts due as a result of NECESSARY medical care were waived with a - % charity discount by - -. I contacted the physician 's billing regarding this matter and was informed to forward my letter of acceptance from - - so that my account could be verified and the balance updated to $0.00. Despite providing this letter as requested, the account was not updated and Escallate insists that I owe $450.00 for an amount that was written off by the physician. Not only is this incorrect, my credit has been seriously impacted as a result.
