Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Florida
I financed a car -/-/- from - - -, a sub-prime lender. We financed about $ - at a very high interest rate ( 16 % ). We paid on the car until we only owed $1700.00 in principal. Then my wife had to stop working because she had a baby. We asked for the company to work with us and wait 2 months for payment because we were so close to being finished paying, but they would not and they repossessed the vehicle in -/-/- or -/-/- ( I can not remember exactly but it was right around -/-/- ). They charged off the remaining $1700.00 In - -. Now, they are reporting new late payments in -/-/- and -/-/- which is hurting my credit and is not allowed on charged off debts.
