I was a victim of identity theft, I have already closed accounts that were opened fraudulently using my credentials. I was contacted in - 2015 by - - - of Rocky Point Capital informing me that I would have to give an official statement for some trial '' immediately. I informed him that the debt was fraudulent and emailed him a copy of the police report on - -, 2015. He gave verbal confirmation that he had received the police report, that the debt was verified as fraudulent, and that it would removed from my record and the case closed. On - - both my mother and I were contacted by - - - from the - and - debt collection agency who informed us that his firm had been retained by Rocky Point Capital to seek payment for the debt. I emailed them about this matter on - - and received no response.
