Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Florida

My wife and I arrived home on - - to discover a telephone message from a Debt Collection '' agency had called and insisted that I should call them back immediately. My return telephone resulted in being transferred to several departments with no human intervention. Subsequently, I - the telephone number - - - - and discovered that the number belongs to the AmSher - Collections -. '' I also discovered from the numerous comments online that its aggressive tactics are to badger the individual into paying old debts, '' real or imagined. LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR : ( 1 ) our credit score has consistently been - for the last five+ years ; and ( 2 ) there are no outstanding old debts ( real or imagined ) from any bank, mortgage lender, credit cards, etc., for the last - years - period! I have no intention of allowing this scam company to extort me for any moneys. I need to determine how/what can be done to stop these harassing calls and to ensure that this - '' does n't end up on some credit report.
