Chase keeps sending me physical mail ( or claims they have sent me physical mail, because obviously the delivery rate for their mail seems low ). Like anyone born after -/-/-, I dread the notion of physical mail. This is not -/-/- where physical mail could have been ( being generous here ) considered the best way to communicate. As much as I like waiting - a ) week - - ) to receive my mail with no tracking on important matters, then finding a sharp tool to open the mail -, then extract the letter while desperately trying to avoid paper -, then taking out the trash so I have a place to throw the envelope, it is ultimately extremely unsafe. Whenever I get mail from Chase, I have to bring it to some kind of shredding service. In this modern day and age, I really do n't know who thought up that sending personally identifiable information over physical mail was a good idea.
