Southwest Credit Systems called ( - - 2015 - ) and refusing to state the reason for the call, while phishing for information regarding my identity. I had to research the incoming phone number to identify the company, then called back and find out Southwest Credit Systems is attempting to collect an unvalidated account with -. I advised Southwest Credit Systems to make no further contact by phone, and mailed a Cease and Desist Notice pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) 15 USC 1692c ( c ) on - - 2015 warning that further contact of any kind would be considered harassment and that any unsubstantiated mark made by Southwest Credit Systems on my credit reports would be considered Defamation of Character and violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Southwest Credit Systems placed a derogatory remark on my credit reports on - - 2015 in reference to this unvalidated account.
