PNC Bank withdraw slips read : I, - The undersigned -, do hereby acknowledge receipt of $ - Amount - however they are requiring this form to be signed in advance, without receiving the funds, before they will transfer or relinquish the funds from my account. I refuse to sign for money I have not received yet as long as the verbiage stands, and the bank refuses to change the funds to a non past tense statement. I would be fine signing a withdraw document that had better verbiage, or signing in after actual receipt of funds. But in the current form it produces a legal liability and I refuse to perjure myself just to access my bank account.
