On -/-/2015, I purchased an - & - - from an organization known as - with an effective date of -/-/15. My monthly premium was supposed to be $36.00 but when I received my receipt via email, I realized that I was charged a total of $120.00 for down payment via American Express ending in -. I contacted - to cancel my policy on -/-/2015 but was told that I am unable to cancel because I should have cancelled it at least 2 days before the effective date of my policy. This cancellation policy was not disclosed with me before I bought the policy and the receipt I received does n't address how to cancel my policy. I talked to American Express to dispute the transaction but it appears nothing was done and all my documents have been rejected without any good explanation. I submitted my receipt and a copy of my policy which was requested for by American Express but I received the following email : Hi - -, We received your recent inquiry about the following transaction : Transaction DetailsDate-/-/2015Amount $ -From/To- - - - -, -We have completed our review and have determined that no credit is due. The transaction will remain on your account because : We have not received the requested information. Based on the information available to us we are unable to verify your claim and have closed our investigation. If you would like to receive a copy of the documents that we used while making our decision, please contact us at -. Thanks, The American Express Serve TeamI contacted customer service on -/-/15 to reopen the dispute but was given the run around and was not allowed to speak with the dispute team. I believe American Express is treating me differently because of my national origin and need them to explain why my documents was rejected
