Encore Capital Group Debt collection department,

Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Oregon

Midland Credit Management , Inc., calls me every day to attempt to collect a debt that they have failed to provide written validation of, in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They are unable to provide written validation because I do not have any accounts in delinquent or collections status - I do n't know what debt they are trying to collect but it is not mine. They call at least once per day, sometimes more, but when I answer the calls there is no one there and the call disconnects - this constitutes harassment. They also call at the same time every day ( between - and -, Pacific Time ) ; I am at work during this time and I am not supposed to receive phone calls, but since I can never actually talk to anyone I have been unable to notify them that they can not call me during this time.
