Credit card Taking/threatening an illegal action Sued w/o proper notification of suit Colorado
Portfolio Recovery Associates sued me in Colorado court without proper notice of a court date or verifying the credit card debt. They told me it was a valid debt and I had to pay. I ended up paying something like $5000.00 to them since they garnished my wages and I just saw the CFPB article about Portfolio Recovery Associates illegal activities by - so I want my $5000.00 refunded.
