I received a call from - and let it go to voicemail, as I did not recognize the number. The prerecorded message stated that I had an issue in their pre-legal department and that I could be taken to court if I did not place a statement on file. They did not state that they were a debt collector, not did they leave my name in the message so that I could verify that the message was for me. The message stated that I should have - and reference a file number, which they did not include in the message.
