I was speaking with Quicken Loans about requirements for a Mortgage Loan, and did not authorize a credit inquiry. However, my credit report was ran without my approval. I consider this fraud and identity theft. I then called back to ask why they did that, and was told by - - of Quicken Loans that they had 'permissible purpose ' if they had my social security number and date of birth. I told them that if anyone had my info they still needed my approval to do anything with it,. I would like to report this agency as willfully misusing my identity and would like to press criminal charges and file a civil lawsuit against Quicken Loans.
