I found an entry on my credit report from ARS, a collection agency. I disputed with the credit bureaus and recently requested a validation of debt. The letter I received in the mail as validation of debt is not adequate as it does not give a place of service, service provided, or who the service was given to. It only has a date of service and an amount. I do not believe this account belongs to me and they have failed to prove that it does.
