On - -, 2015, we terminated our service with -/- and returned our equipment as directed. We were told we would receive our final bill shortly. On - -, we received our final bill from - for $51.00, after the applied credit to our account of $130.00. The bill due date was - -, 2015. I immediately paid our bill on - - for the amount owed. On - -, 2015, I received a call from - demanding payment of the $51.00 plus fees totaling $67.00. I explained to - we were NOT delinquent and had paid the bill on the date received. - said we need to take it up with -. We called - and attempted for for over - hours, most which was on hold to talk to someone who could straighten this out as my credit is now negatively affected. Customer service agents pulled up our account and said they did n't understand why we were referred to a collection agency. We never received an answer, we referred to several departments within - including Internal Collections '', none of who could answer why they referred our account to collections. This illegal act by - is outrageous and callous. We have been good customers, always paying our bill - days ahead of the due date, now we have this attack on my good credit.
