Collection agency : Harris & Harris Ltd ( - - - -, - - -, IL ) keeps calling me, and sending collection mail to my home AND work. After repeatedly asking them not to call and send me these harassing ( and embarrassing ) letters they have refused to cease. The worst part, I have repeatedly informed them that I DO NOT have any debt or balance, and asked them to please contact - to verify. I even got a - representative on the phone and called them to confirm and was met with further hostility and told that it did not matter. The only way to get this settled is to just pay us '' is what I was met with. - has verified repeatedly that I have NO accounts or balances with them. Sending collection letters to someone 's work is a real low, especially when in attempt to collect a debt that is not even valid or owed. Harris & Harris Ltd Collection agency is the lowest of the low.
