Discover Credit card department,
I have never had a credit card before and whenever I apply for a student card I am always denied. The company did not send me a letter or email regarding the reasons why I was denied a credit card. I have a fairly large amount of money in my savings account but the companies do not even ask for the amount that you currently have. They ask for the gross income amount. Most college students do not have a permanent job and are mostly seasonal employees. I do not see what the issue is with my current financial information given to them. I even contacted a credit report company to see if something is wrong with my credit score even though I 've never had a credit card.
