Credit determination New York

-/-/- I sent for a credit report. When I got the credit report it stated that my balance with Military Star Credit Card was $6600.00. Since I never charged anything around that date ( - - ) I was sent to the Military Star Fraud Dept. The fraud rep told me that he would be sending me copies of the transactions and I would be able to prove, with a signed photo ID, that the signature was not mine. That was the last I heard from Military Star. No mail. No calls. nothing. My son got very sick -/-/-. I had much more to do than worry about Military Star. My son, age -, lost his battle with - in - -. In all my new credit reports I noticed that I had an outstanding balance with Military Star for $6600.00. It also said account closed ''

my credit card I saw where Military Star had listed my account as 90 days overdo. Please keep in mind I had heard nothing from them. I called Military Star, sent to the fraud dept. where I was told to call my congressman and I was obligated to pay the outstanding balance of $6800.00. If I did not they would garnish my V.A. - payments. I spoke to a - - - ( head of the fraud dept. at Military Star ). He stated he would investigate my allegations and get back to me. Of course, he did n't. I waited several days after trying to contact - - and one of his assistants that - - had prepared but never sent to me. The assistant told me that - - had decided that my fraud claim was not valid and I had to pay the $6800.00 that was charged fraudulently. No reason. No explanation. I then sent an e-mail to the fraud dept. stating I was -, on a -, the day the - where made. From - to - - - did not try to communicate with me by any of the means they could have contacted me with. I tried - - and they too ignored me. Due to the late payment on my charge account in ( with Military Star - - - ) I was listed as 90 days late on my payments. Again I was never told by Military Star that I owed this money ( no Billing statements, no phone calls. After I called Military Star I was informed that if I did n't make the payments my Veterans Comp would be garnished throuh my months deposit of my Veterasns Admin - Comp. I paid what I could and transferred the balance to another credit card. No amount of reasoning with Military Star yielded a result. I was not aware of your services until yesterday.
