Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt resulted from identity theft Alaska

Had previously reported personal identity theft to FTC. Personal information was used to purport a false medical claim against my credit resulting in a lower credit score. I did a search for the collection company, North American - -, which only resulted in a private - page. Then did a search with the given #, - - - -, resulting in a list of consumer complaints - this same # posing as a telemarketer, a collection company and also a warranty service. Checked the BBB page which stated the company was closed.
