My company has a credit card account with Capital One. They have been charging interest on this account even though the card is paid off every month. We have to call them each time to obtain the credit for the illicit interest charge. Capital One considers a payment late if not received on a particular date and does not consider the post mark date as the date of payment. If Capital One receives the payment - day or - days later than the published due date the annual percentage rate increases to 29.4 % which seems predatorial.
