I have been using Western Union for many years to send money to my daughter and her mother -. As of late the service is horrible, insulting and untruthful. I tried to send to yesterday and they said they had to put it on hold for at least 2 hrs due to her side. They give us the tracking number, take the money and then come back by at least 2hrs later saying they ca n't send the money due to her side. So now they have my money on hold for at the most 3-5 business days. Eventually it gets refunded but it just seems like a scam to somehow hold my money for an extent of time and then return it. It has happened several times the last few days and when I call to ask why they wont tell me. - its her acct and not mine. Western Union just seems very fishy as of late.
