On - -, 2015, I was scheduled to close on my primary residence home located at - - -, -, NC, as the home is scheduled for a foreclosure sale in -. - - and I signed a purchase agreement for $100000.00 for this property. The sale proceeds would have paid off my - lien of $84000.00, and there would have been $20000.00 remaining to pay off my - lien. On - -, 2015, GreenTree, LLC verbally informed me that the would accept the remaining funds through short sale to pay off the - lien loan, and take the charge off my credit. I faxed them all documents to complete the short sale transaction. GreenTree did not complete the documentation required for the closing. From - -, 2015 to - -, 2015, myself and the closing attorney 's requests, -, - - -, - called them over - times to complete the transaction. I personally, eft over - messages for them to contact me and the closing attorneys to complete the transaction. DUE TO THEIR NON RESPONSE, THE BUYER WALKED AWAY FROM THE SALE and my home is NOW going to be sold in foreclosure in - 2015. I AM LIVID AND DISGUSTED THAT THIS COMPANY WILLFULLY OBSTRUCTED AND PREVENTED ME FROM SELLING MY HOME. I am entitled to damages. Specifically, request that Green Tree forgive my loan with them and take it off my credit report, and pay off the first lien to -. As such, I am requesting that this agency investigate this matter as Green Tree has violated all consumer mortgage servicing laws.
