I contacted both - and Midland Funding concerning an account that is listed on my credit report by Midland Funding. - was unable to provide an explanation of the exuberant charges that Midland Funding was attempting to collect. Midland has not provided an explanation of the charges either. I have contacted them by fax, phone and mail. This account undoubtly includes cramming charges not authorized by me and that I do not owe. - 's practice of cramming is well outlined in a complaint filed by the FTC where - has agreed to reimburse negatively affected customers for these erroneous charges. Not only has Midland Funding continued to try to collect these unowed amounts but they also have reported this to the credit bureaus and verified the reporting of the same when I attempted to dispute the charges with the credit bureau. To date although requested Midland Funding has provided no valid proof that I owe this debt and can not provide the same because I do not owe this debt due to the cramming charges.
