On -/-/15, Viking Client Services contacted me by mail about a debt '' of $670.00 from - Car Rental. I know of no such debt. I contacted - who had never told me about anything like this, and - had no information about it. I wrote on -/-/15 to Viking telling them there was no such debt and asking that they drop it or obtain a verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgment and mail to me a copy of such judgment or verification '' as they had indicated they would do so in their -/-/15 letter. They have not done so or responded in any way. On -/-/15, I


debt '' and offering '' me an initial payment plan of $50.00 per month for - months. This entire approach seems fraudulent, predatory and abusive. They have not provided any information on this debt '' ( as they indicated they would do -. I worry not so much about me, as about other poor individuals whom they must be approaching with similar tactics : official-looking letters, names of big corporations - like - -, and no back-up or information. Just demands for cash payment for so-called debts. I am willing to cooperate with the CFPB or any other agency to help stop these predatory, abusive practices. If there is an attempt to collect a debt, '' the debt collector should at a minimum be required to describe the so-called debt '' to the debtor.
