I applied for a - - Visa Signature credit card in -. At that time, they advertised the card as offering a Bonus Award Night ''. This means on award stays of -+ nights credit card holders receive - - free. Less than two weeks after my application, this benefit was canceled starting - -. There are other, smaller, changes as well. All of this took place in less than three months after receiving my card and paying the annual fee. I have not even had the chance to earn the points promised to me for hitting minimum spend requirements of $2500.00 before the benefits associated with such points have been taken. In short, I feel US Bank was deceptive with their advertising and dramatically reduced promised benefits with such little advance warning as to make the situation resemble a bait-and-switch offer.
