I paid $43.00 to overnight a certified check to the credit card company to pay off the account in full. I was told it would post immediately However, synchrony financial is holding my account hostage by refusing to zero out my account for 3 days - without cause. Given that 's it a certified check, there is no reason to freeze the account. I have an emergency medical problem and need the account for medical bills. Thus, the reason for overnighting the check.
